In Niš on 10 November 2016 Hendi Centar Coloseum organized a seminar titled "Accessibility of transport for people with disabilities in tourism services," which draws attention to tourism workers on the importance of customization of services precisely this group.

People with disabilities say that they are have the biggest problem in choosing the travel arrangements to find accommodation which meets their needs. Each hotel is obliged to adjust capacity 2% of persons with disabilities. A Nis, according to Aneta Ilic from the Association of Paraplegics, there is only one hotel that has all the conditions.

"By law, no one may issue a permit to operate the facility, which is not accessible to people with disabilities. Although we have a good law on planning and construction, the problem is not respected in practice, "said Aneta.

The problem arises when some people are free to interpret the concept of "availability" - there are standards of accessibility and should respect them, "said Jasmina Barać Perović.

"The problem is in lack of information, but also us with disabilities not to talk loud enough about all the challenges. I have muscular dystrophy and I can not move from wheelchair to bed alone. Us that transfer solves one crane, but then we have a problem because the whole of Serbia there is no room that is adapted to the movement of these cranes, "said Darko Ivic from Hendi Center Coloseum from Belgrade.

From Hendi Center Coloseum who had organized the seminar with the assistance of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and the City of Nis, note that there are several types of disability and in relation to each person has different needs. From other associations added that some supplies are not even expensive, but tourism workers simply do not know what to purchase or not purchase equipment because hardly anyone checks that they comply with standards.
