Seventh Belgrade International Film Festival of people with disabilities "Bosifest 2016" was opened on 01. June 2016. at the Youth Center in Belgrade. At the opening , a minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that the festival is a great opportunity to show how much these people are creative, courageous and able to master the everyday problems which would be intractable and unsolvable for others.

Seventh Belgrade International Film Festival of people with Disabilities, BOSIFEST lasted from 1. to 3. June this year. In addition to the films that have shown in the Youth Center, the following program of the festival took place through workshops, panel discussions and round tables. Of the 250 films that were submitted, 34 titles were selected for a three-day repertoire. On the festival were alternated revial and competitive film screenings, among which documentaries were dominant, experimental and poetic, of which the shortest lasts 4, and the longest 95 minutes. In addition to a significant number of films of domestic production, films arrived from all over the world: Germany, Great Britain, USA, France, South Korea, Argentina, the Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, Iran, Australia, Austria and Russia ...

The jury consisted of Ivan Karl, Nebojša Bradić and Vladan Vukosavljević declared
winners and awarded prizes to following film achievements : Special Mention went to the film KANTHARI: change from the inside. Author of the film is Marijn Poels, and producer is Tomasz Kozakiewicz. According to the jury, this is a film that exudes courage and wants to find answers to some fundamental questions, not just about people with disabilities, but about the whole world in which we live. The award for best screenplay received Dejan Petrović for film Restart.

The jury pointed out the topic, as well as its treatment, with noticeable element of patience throughout the creative process. The Best Director Award went to the film Retina by Darko Dragićević, for the original director's process in creating a visually exceptional, imaginary world. Grand Prix: for the best film of the Festival was declared a Spanish achievement Gabor whose author is Sebastian Alfie. The jury evaluated the film as the most comprehensive work, the story of dedication, commitment and dedication to the movie business, which exceeds, for that profession and purpose, the toughest barrier. The award was taken over by Ana Nadal, a representative of the film team.
